Bio

I have fifteen years of experience in HR leadership, four of them – on the leadership teams in multiple organizations, including NEAR Foundation and GitHub.

As a Chief People Officer at NEAR Foundation, I am responsible for all of the company's recruitment, onboarding, and people success processes. But that’s not all: I’m also developing NEAR as an ecosystem, creating structures and ways for bringing top talent.

At NEAR, we help startups by promoting their visibility and letting them use our job boards as well as open-sourcing the resources that founders need for hiring (for example, how to make an employee value proposition).

Before that, I worked as the Head of Global Talent Acquisition at GitHub — and while I was there, the company was acquired by Microsoft and went through a massive transition. I guided the team on their journey from being a startup to becoming a part of a multi-billion dollar company and led the effort to grow from 400 employees to 2,400 (and beyond!).

I’ve also consulted several startups as they’re thinking what’s their culture, what they want to build, and what they want to be known for. I believe that in the case of startups, these questions should be answered early on so that you do not accidentally build something that’s not serving you well. My goal here is to help startups build effectively and uplift employees at the same moment, and my personal passion, honestly, is helping those from underrepresented communities break into Web3.
